Mountain Biking & Fishing


We plan to heave lockups for mountain bikes and other facilities on site to accomadate the Fisher man; Mountain biker; Walkers & Hikers and Employee groups of business outings weather its for character or team building.

One of Northern Ireland's most famous lakes, a stunning Victorian Castle, incredible panoramic views and flowing singletrack; all just minutes from the lively village of Castlewellan.
Castlewellan Forest Park boasts all of this and more. With green, blue and red grade trails (including black options) Castlewellan is a must-visit for mountain bikers of all ages and abilities.

All riders are reminded that Castlewellan Forest Park is a shared space used by families, walkers and horse riders. Please watch your speed when using forestry roads or where MTB trails intersect with other trails and roads.
Silent Valley Mountain Park

Ringed by mountains, 'The Valley', located within the Mourne Area of  Outstanding Natural Beauty, houses beautiful parkland, lakes and a pond.  It attracts around 50,000 visitors per year most of whom come to enjoy  the peace and solitude of this mountain area with its unique landscapes  and varied wildlife.

They have on offer: Mountain Biking; Several mountain Walks; Picnic area; Toilets; Tea & Coffee onsite and Parking for cars and Coaches.

Castlewellan & Annsborough Angling Club

A fly fishing facility in Castlewellan, Co Down, Northern Ireland. Well managed by keen like minded fishermen. A very friendly group of club members, who welcome visitors from far and wide. Happy to meet fishermen in pursuit of the same interests.
